Gave his reasons for certain things and clearly justified his reasonings. We built the house 38 years ago and it was a bittersweet, emotional time for us. We were downsizing, moving DE to be close to our daughter and grandkids. And being elderly, wanted to relieve ourselves of the physical challenges a huge property requires. But this house was our years of hard work, planning with so many memories. Sam was so understanding about how we felt and that certainly eased things. He is an all around good guy.

He answered every question in a timely fashion and even more importantly if he didn't know the answer immediately he got you the answer quickly. Worked very hard on getting us good contact people for inspections etc. Also this was not a high priced sale but I felt Sam gave our purchase as much attention as he would give a million dollar purchase which was fantastic!

I know other realtors including family and friends and would never use anyone other than him. He is on top of the sale or purchase from beginning to end. In the case of selling this property the home did not appraise and the purchase price offered. Sam quickly got in touch with two previous bidders as well as the current buyer and got her to use some cash so we could complete the closing in the needed time frame and to the satisfaction of both myself and the buyer. A win/win which is what I have become accustom to when dealing with Sam.

Hard to put into words just how happy we are with how the sale of our home went and how easy Sam made it for us. I want to highlight two things that Sam did better than anyone I could imagine to make the process smoother and less stressful than it could have been. Sam is always available for his clients. If you need to talk to him and he doesn't answer his phone its because he can't and he will text you within 3 minutes to tell you when he's free. As a client that is huge - knowing that I can talk to my agent when I feel like I need to is invaluable. We spoke Sunday mornings, late Friday nights, early weekday mornings - Sam is always available for his clients. You can't say enough about how valuable that is. Second, Sam let us drive, but was there to grab the wheel if he needed to. He puts the seller in control and does not dictate to them what he thinks - whether it be about price, negotiation, etc etc. But, when you need his advice, or when you start swerving off the road, to continue the metaphor, he is there to bring you back between the lines. He's a pro in that regard. That speaks to both his knowledge of the business and his understanding of people.
